Your Data Rights on Pinkora (PDPA), Explained
Pinkora follows Thailand's PDPA. Here's what data we collect, the rights you have over it, what we use it for, and what we never do with it.
The PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562) is Thailand's law protecting your personal data. This article explains how Pinkora complies with it and what rights you have as a user.
What data does Pinkora collect?
- •Email address — to create your account and send notifications.
- •Chat history — stored so the AI can remember your relationship over time.
- •Usage data — how often features are used, to improve the service.
- •Payment info — handled via Stripe (Pinkora never stores your card number directly).
What are your rights under the PDPA?
- 1.Right of access — request to see the data Pinkora holds about you.
- 2.Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- 3.Right to erasure — delete your account and all data via My Profile → Delete Account.
- 4.Right to portability — export your chat history via My Profile → Export Chat.
- 5.Right to object — refuse the use of your data for certain purposes.
What does Pinkora use your data for?
- •Providing the AI companion service and remembering your relationship.
- •Sending relevant notification emails (you can unsubscribe).
- •Improving service quality (anonymized).
- •Complying with the law when required.
What does Pinkora never do?
- •Sell your personal data to third parties.
- •Use your private conversations to train AI without consent.
- •Transfer data abroad without adequate safeguards.
